d1-Machame Gate to Machame Camp

From the gate we commence a walk (6-8 hours) through thick rain forest to Machame Camp.

d2-Machame Camp to Shira Camp-3800m

We start trekking (4-6 hours) through the Moor Land zone, enjoying superb views of Shira Plateau and Mount "Meru" an extinct volcano.

Astazi vom merge aproximativ 6 ore.Vom traversa zona numita Moor Land. Vom putea admira platoul Shirasi vom avea ocazia sa admiram vulcanul vecin Muntele Meru. Vom termina la Shira Camp (3800 m).

d3-Shira Camp to Barranco Camp-3900m

you depart Shira Camp in the morning taking the path which rises up gradually towards the Kibo peak, after reaching the wedge, Buttress point and then path drops down to the Barranco Camp (3900m).

d4-Barranco to Karanga Camp-4630m

Today the group conquers the great Barranco Valley and up the Barranco wall; continue the trek on the South Circuit path through the Karanga Valley. We camp tonight at Karanga Camp (4630 m).

d5-Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp-4630m

Slowly trek (7 hours) to Barafu Camp (4600m). 

From Barafu you will have excellent views of Kibo and Mawenzi peaks. Barufu Camp is situated on an exposed ridge, so it is necessary to familiarise yourself with the terrain before dark. We acclimatize and make necessary preparation for the summit day ahead.

d6-Barafu to Summit to Mweka Camp-5895m

Tonight is the night! 

A midnight start to conquer the highest point in Africa. This section of the route is considered one of the steepest on the non-technical paths of Kilimanjaro. 

It is a 6-7 hour hike to Stella Point in order to see the sunrise. 

From Stella Point it is a 1 hour to Uhuru Peak and the rooftop of Africa. 

We then descend down to Mweka Camp. It going to be a very long day!
